welcome.
Hello there, my name is Will Vastine.
When I’m not working or spending time with my family, you’ll find me at a coffee shop, looking for the perfect iced coffee, or somewhere out in the woods. Always with a camera in hand. Photography isn’t just a hobby. It’s a way to stop time, to catch a moment before it slips away. I like that. There’s something honest in capturing what is already there, something that doesn’t need embellishment, just a steady hand and a sharp eye.
I’ve always been drawn to the idea of living with intention. There’s beauty in crafting a life, shaping it as you go, making it into something. The journey hasn’t always been easy, and the road isn’t straight. But here I am, taking steps, learning as I go. I grew up when blogs were a thing—everyone seemed to have one. I’ve started a few myself. None stuck. But now I’m giving it another go.
Fifty-two posts. One a week. That’s the challenge I’ve set for myself. A way to prove I can stick with something. Maybe, by the end of it, I’ll have something real, something that can stand on its own.
I want to live deliberately—more connected to the world. It’s easy to get lost in the noise, but I’m looking for something quieter, something more meaningful. We all have the same hours in the day. What matters is how we use them.
I’ll be using this little corner of the internet to share what I learn, the successes and the failures. There’s value in knowledge, but more in sharing it. Maybe, by putting this out into the world, I’ll discover more about who I am as a partner, a father, and a person trying to live better.
I’m open to your thoughts. I don’t know everything, not by a long shot. So let me know what you think. The future’s uncertain, but that’s the beauty of it. We shape it as we go.
Thanks for being here.
